These terms cover your use of thegayescape.com (the site). The site is run by Get Social Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Using the site

You can read, share and link to anything on the site. Please don't use it to break the law, try to get into parts of it that aren't public, upload anything harmful to it, or copy it in bulk with scrapers or other automated tools.

Our content

The writing, photographs, audio, video, design and branding on the site belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You're welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. Republishing a guide or an article in full, or using our content in your own commercial product, needs our written permission first.

Travel information changes

We check what we publish, and most of our guides show when their facts were last verified. Prices, opening times, routes and entry rules still change without notice, and a venue can close between our visit and yours. Check the details with the venue, operator or provider before you book or travel. Nothing on the site is legal, medical or safety advice for your own circumstances.

Affiliate links and bookings

Some links on the site may be affiliate links. If you book or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. How that works is explained on our affiliate disclosure page.

When you book a hotel, tour, ticket or anything else through a link on the site, your contract is with that provider, not with us. Their terms, prices, cancellation rules and customer service apply, and any problem with the booking is theirs to resolve.

The newsletter

If you sign up, we'll send you our newsletter until you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link. How we handle your email address is set out in our privacy policy.

Availability

We aim to keep the site up and accurate, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, move or remove any part of it.

Our liability to you

The site is free to use and is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from relying on information on the site, from a booking you make with a third-party provider, or from the site being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights the law gives you.

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after that, the updated terms apply.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If something has gone wrong, please email us first and we will try to sort it out directly.
